Versatility at all levels

Use Cases

In our view, two of the most important capabilities of a platform are its flexibility and versatility. The Acalta Health Platform has been developed to ensure these capabilities, among others, and can therefore be applied in all clinical areas.

Use Case Tiles
Icon Surgery

Elective operations

The use of the Acalta Health Platform in surgical compartments for perioperative care can prevent surgeries from being canceled on short notice due to preventable patient-related reasons.

Icon Anaesthesia

Anesthesia

Our platform simplifies perioperative processes, starting with premedication, through education, to the collection of quality of outcome (postanesthesiological visit).

Icon Radiation

Radiotherapy

As part of radiation therapy, we allow patients to connect between regular appointments. Patients are informed about their next upcoming appointments and any changes. In addition, patients can document any side effects that occur.

Icon Chemotherapy

Chemo-/ immunotherapy

Chemotherapy or immunotherapy appointments cancelled at short notice without timely information to the treatment team result in the discarding of expensive therapeutics already prepared. The Acalta Health Platform complements follow-up care and increases patient adherence to appointments.

Icon Gynecology

Gynecology

Particularly patient groups with a high need for information and commitment to illness expect constant support. This is also the case for gynecological preventive care, tumor diseases, pregnancy care or other treatments. The Acalta Health Platform always informs your patients about the next steps and provides important documents.

Other specialties

Your specialty is not listed here? That's no problem, because our platform can be used in any medical specialty.

Customer Success Stories

The Radiation Clinic of the University Hospital Erlangen uses the Acalta Health Platform for symptom documentation by patients undergoing immunotherapy and chemotherapy. This innovative solution enables patients to record their own health conditions, which provides valuable information about the course of their treatment. Gradually, the connection will be extended to all patients in the radiation clinic.

The MVZ Nordstrahl at Nuremberg North Hospital relies on various care plans to provide optimal care for patients with different tumor entities. With the help of these plans, side effects are documented, patient information is provided digitally, and the course of treatment is closely monitored by means of questionnaires. This promotes a closer connection of patients to the practice and holistic care.

The RECUR registry project combines data from routine care with digitally captured information from patients suffering from recurrent urinary stones. Acalta is responsible for collecting and providing the registry data for ten university hospitals. These data are used for scientific research and improve the treatment of this patient group.

As part of the BMBF-funded research project MIA-PROM, a physical and virtual AI assistance system is being developed to optimize the collection of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). Acalta is responsible for the development of the tablet app and the seamless integration of the system. Partners in this project are renowned institutions and companies (including Charité Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin) working together to improve the patient experience.
